Accessibility

CCF wants everyone to be able to find a service and get in touch, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

How the site is built

  • Pages use meaningful headings, landmarks and labels, and work with a keyboard alone.
  • Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA colour contrast.
  • Content reflows on small screens and when zoomed to 400%, without sideways scrolling.
  • Animation brings the site to life but is never needed to read or use it. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site shows everything without movement, smooth scrolling or 3D effects. Everything also works with JavaScript turned off.
  • The enquiry form explains errors in text next to the field, and phone and email alternatives are always shown.

What has been checked

Before launch the site was checked with automated accessibility testing on every page at phone and desktop sizes, keyboard-only use, reduced motion, JavaScript turned off, and zoom and text-spacing changes. It has not yet been tested by people who use screen readers or other assistive technology. Automated testing cannot find every problem.

Report a problem

If something on this website is difficult to use, please tell CCF: email info@ccflimited.co.uk or call 01293 419085. Say which page and what happened, and CCF will look at it.
